About the service
Bike Connect is a planned platform for discovering riders, sharing content, communicating and organizing rides. Features and availability may change during development. Final eligibility rules, operator details and applicable contractual terms will be confirmed before commercial launch.
Bike Connect facilitates connections and ride organization. It does not operate or supervise user-organized motorcycle rides.
Your account and responsibilities
Provide accurate information, keep account access secure and use the service lawfully. Do not impersonate another person or misrepresent qualifications or experience. You are responsible for your activity and for determining whether you are eligible to use the service and participate in a ride.
Community behavior
Treat other riders respectfully. Harassment, threats, hate, discrimination, scams, spam, sharing private information without consent and encouraging dangerous or unlawful riding are prohibited. Do not use the service to arrange illegal races, evade road-safety rules, exploit minors, distribute unlawful content or interfere with service security.
Content you share
Only upload material you own or have permission to share. You retain your rights in your content. To provide the features you choose to use, Bike Connect needs permission to host, display and transmit that content to its intended audience. The scope and duration of any production content licence must be finalized before launch. Respect intellectual property, privacy and other people’s consent.
Ride participation and road safety
Motorcycling involves risks, including serious injury, property damage and changing road or weather conditions. Evaluate the route, your skills, your vehicle and conditions for yourself. Wear appropriate protective equipment, follow traffic laws, remain sober and do not interact with the app while riding. A listing, route or participant profile is not a guarantee of safety or suitability. Contact local emergency services for an emergency; Bike Connect is not an emergency service.
Organizer responsibilities
Ride organizers are responsible for the information and arrangements they provide, including meeting points, route expectations and changes. Communicate clearly and avoid misleading participants. Organizers and participants must obtain any necessary permissions and follow applicable laws. A ride’s appearance in the app does not imply that Bike Connect has verified, endorsed or supervised it.
Licensing, insurance and vehicles
Each rider is responsible for having the required licence, registration, insurance and a roadworthy motorcycle, and for meeting local requirements. Check that your insurance covers your intended activities. Bike Connect does not provide insurance, inspect vehicles or certify riders.
Moderation and account access
Content or accounts may be reviewed, restricted, removed, suspended or terminated for abuse, violations, security concerns or legal obligations. Report concerns through support. Contact support to ask about a moderation decision. The final moderation and review process will be confirmed before launch. You can also request account deletion.
Availability and limitations
The service may be unavailable, interrupted or changed, and information provided by users may be incomplete or inaccurate. Bike Connect cannot guarantee another rider’s conduct, any ride outcome or continuous access. Any final warranty exclusions or liability limitations must be reviewed under applicable law; nothing in these draft terms is intended to exclude rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes and contact
These draft terms will be updated as Bike Connect develops. Revised terms will be posted here with an updated date; material changes will be communicated as required.
